In Transit - DVD Menu
I was approached by the University of Toronto's "Only Human Dance Collective" to create a video of their year-end dance show "In Transit".
I was also tasked with producing their DVD. It was during a walk to school when I noticed the TTC transit map and thought to myself how it could be turned into a simple DVD menu. The show's themes touched on movement and travel and so the map idea fit perfectly within their theme. I also integrated the subway theme in the menu transitions by having a TTC car wipe from one screen to the next.
The result was a nice, clean, and simple menu with a natural flow that at the same time fit within the travel theme as well as reflected the local nature of the show.
